St Mark’s welcomes students who are currently enrolled in, or who intend to enrol in, a full-time, on-campus degree at Bachelor level or higher at Adelaide University (in 2025, the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia) or Flinders University.

Admission to St Mark’s is highly competitive, and students are selected for membership on the basis of their:

We are also committed to ensuring that St Mark’s is a diverse and balanced community, and in making offers we take into account the overall composition of our community.
Applications for new students are accepted year-round for commencement in February of the following year – however we recommend applying before August to be certain of consideration. There is also often a small mid-year intake each year.
You must have commenced or completed your final year of secondary education before commencing your application for St Mark's.
We typically receive over three applications per place. In order to manage the large number of applications we receive we operate an Admissions Rounds model. There are five main Admissions Rounds each year, in May, July, August, September, and November, and we release a fixed number of places in each of the five rounds. A small number of places are also held in reserve for scholarship students, study abroad students and international students.
Offers are conditional on meeting minimum academic requirements and being accepted into a Bachelor-level or higher, full-time, on-campus degree program at Adelaide University (known as the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia in 2025) or Flinders University. We warmly welcome applications from postgraduate students, international students, and students undertaking Study Abroad programs through our affiliated universities.

Provide contact details for two referees. We will contact them to request an academic reference and a character reference.
Step 3
Submit your application.
Pay the $84 application fee online and submit your application.
Step 4
Interview
Following our review of applications, shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview, either in person at St Mark’s College or via phone/Teams.
Step 5
Application Outcome.
The College operates five main Admissions Rounds each year: in May, July, August, September, and November. If you receive an offer you have 21 days (unless stated otherwise) to accept, decline or defer your place.
