Centenary Founders’ Day
Sunday 4 May 2025 @ 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Founders’ Day – Sunday 4 May 2025
All are warmly welcome at our Centenary year Founders’ Day afternoon tea and service, 100 years on from the opening of the College in 1925.
Afternoon tea, which will include the traditional toast to the Founders, will begin at 4:30 in the College Dining Hall and around the Pond. A plaque in memory of young Australians killed in World War I, which used to be in the College’s former dining hall in Downer House, can now be found near the Pond.
We will then proceed to St Peter’s Cathedral for a 6pm Evensong and service. The Founders’ Day service marks Anzac Day and St Mark’s Day, as well as honouring the founders who worked hard and gave generously 100 years ago to bring the College into being.
