Founders’ Day – Sunday 28 April 2024

The Founders’ Day service at 10am marks Anzac Day and St Mark’s Day, as well as honouring the founders who worked hard and gave generously 100 years ago to bring the College into being. The service is now held in the Dining Hall because of numbers attending.

Join us in the Hall for this special service, which is followed by morning tea and the traditional toast. A plaque in memory of young Australians killed in World War I, which used to be in the College’s former dining hall in Downer House, can now be seen near the Pond.

In the afternoon, Old Collegians’ teams will play against current Collegians in fun games of football at Park 12#2. The men’s game starts at 2:30pm, and the women’s at 4:30pm. A Gassie BBQ and drinks will be available from 2pm.
