Angela currently combines the roles of Consultant Clinician at Marion Podiatry, Honorary Senior Lecturer at La Trobe University, and Research Lead and volunteer with NGO Walk for Life Clubfoot in Bangladesh.
Angela is an elected Director of Australian Podiatry Association, was scientific Chair for the 2019 National Podiatry conference. and is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association Professional Credentialing committee. She has previously served on committees with Sports Medicine Australia, Ashford hospital, and Diabetes Australia.
Angela is a member of the St Mark’s College Board and Chair of the College’s Nominations Committee. An appointed Director of AnglicareSA Ltd, she has also been Chair of The Magdalene Centre committee of management, People’s Warden at St Peter’s Anglican Cathedral in Adelaide, Deputy Chair of the Cathedral Council, and a member of St Barnabas Theological College Council.
Angela is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is familiar with contemporary Board structures and has practical financial literacy from varied executive and finance committee roles, in addition to practice management, as the sole Director of Marion Podiatry from 1990 – 2018.
Angela received a Ritchie Trust Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, is widely published in the health and medical literature, and has given 80 Keynote or Invited lectures at national and international conferences.
In 2016, Angela was recipient of the Excellence in Delivering Primary Care Award in South East Asia from British Medical Journal, for her volunteer work with the clubfoot project of Bangladesh.
